Architect | Newly Qualified to 3 Years PQE | Commercial Workplace & Retrofit Projects

A fantastic practice we are working with is looking to hire an Architect with between 0-3 years post qualification experience to join its growing team. Working across a range of commercial workplace and retrofit projects, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all stages of project delivery while developing your technical, design and client-facing skills within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.

The role would suit a recently qualified Architect or someone with a few years of post-registration experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with experienced project leaders, contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality London projects while continuing to develop professionally.

  • Assist in the delivery of commercial workplace and retrofit projects across a range of RIBA stages
  • Support the production of planning, technical and construction information
  • Develop detailed design proposals and technical packages
  • Coordinate with consultants and wider design teams
  • Attend project meetings and assist with client communication
  • Contribute to design reviews, presentations and project delivery strategies
  • Work closely with senior team members to develop technical knowledge and project experience
  • Support the delivery of creative and commercially successful design solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
