Orchestration Architect – 5G, Open RAN & Network Automation

Location: Egham, Surrey
Salary: £90,000 – £95,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

We’re working with an ambitious next-generation Telco start-up delivering advanced connectivity solutions across Private 5G, Open RAN, Enterprise Wireless, FWA and intelligent network automation. As they scale, they’re looking for an experienced Orchestration Architect to define and lead the architecture of their telecom automation platforms.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of a fast-moving, innovative business — where your architectural decisions will directly shape how next-generation networks are deployed, managed and optimised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end architecture for telecom orchestration and automation platforms
  • Design integration architecture across 4G/5G Core, LTE/5G RAN, Open RAN, IP Transport, Edge Computing and Enterprise applications
  • Design orchestration workflows covering network deployment, service provisioning, configuration management, fault management, performance optimisation and closed-loop automation
  • Define interfaces between network controllers, RAN intelligent platforms, core network functions, AI/ML engines and operational platforms
  • Lead architecture for network intelligence, service assurance, AI-driven optimisation and zero-touch automation
  • Support intent-based networking and autonomous network capabilities
  • Review technical designs to ensure scalability, security and performance
  • Engage with telecom operators, industrial customers and technology partners on technical discussions, workshops, proposals and PoC demonstrations
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
