Architect - Cambridgeshire
Salary: £40,000–£45,000
Hours: 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday
Location: Office-based, 5 days per week
About the Role
We are working with an established and growing architectural practice looking to appoint an Architect to join their close-knit team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' post-graduate experience and ideally be RIBA qualified / ARB registered, or working towards professional qualification. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect looking to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion. You will receive ongoing mentoring and support while gaining responsibility across all RIBA stages. A particular focus of the role will be on rural, agricultural and equestrian projects, although previous equestrian experience is not required. The practice has completed over 100 stable projects and works with a strong base of repeat clients, making technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality drawings particularly important.

Key Responsibilities
- Working across all RIBA stages, from initial concept through to completion.
- Producing detailed architectural drawings and technical information.
- Developing planning and construction information.
- Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Supporting the delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Contributing to the design and technical development of projects.
- Working on a range of rural, agricultural, residential, commercial and equestrian schemes.
- Maintaining a high standard of technical documentation and drawing production.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years' post-graduate architectural experience.
- A RIBA qualification / ARB registration, or be working towards professional qualification.
- Strong AutoCAD experience.
- Good technical knowledge and an understanding of the construction process.
- Experience producing detailed architectural drawings.
- The ability to work across multiple RIBA stages.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The confidence to work with clients and other project stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car — driving is essential for this role.
