Company Description
With eight design studios spread around the world, chances are you’ve seen our work before.
We work across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and urban design - a rich multi-disciplinary mix of skills and perspectives that unlocks the economic, social, and cultural value of projects.
We combine our creative design expertise with capabilities in strategy, research, technology, and experience design, and we regularly collaborate with experts and partners from further afield.
Through our work, we're trying to build a more inclusive, sustainable future for communities - and create a more socially and ecologically resilient world.
Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and curious Architectural Assistant (Part I or II) to join our team in London.
This is an opportunity for an emerging designer who wants to work at the front end of architecture — exploring ideas, developing concepts, and helping create compelling design responses for competitions and opportunities across different geographies, scales, and project types.
Working alongside experienced designers and senior members of our team, you’ll contribute to projects where strong ideas, experimentation, and the ability to communicate design beautifully really matter.
About the Role
As part of our Global Competition Hub, you’ll contribute to the development of architectural and urban design ideas from early research and concept generation through to presentations and competition submissions.
Your work could involve exploring spatial and material concepts, testing different approaches through 3D modelling, producing drawings and visualisations, researching architecture and urban design, and helping the team communicate a clear design story.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
