Part 2 Architectural Assistant

We are seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our studio in Lymington.

About Us

Ström Architects specialises in bespoke, design-led residential projects, offering interior design alongside architecture. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity: you will work across live projects from concept through to delivery, gaining broad, hands-on exposure to different building types and every stage of the design process, from early concept work and planning submissions through to technical detailing, consultant coordination, and construction-stage support.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you will:

  • Assist in developing concept designs and technical drawings for bespoke residential and high-end development projects
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to shape innovative, high-quality design outcomes
  • Help prepare presentation materials and technical documentation
  • Liaise directly with consultants and other project stakeholders under the guidance of senior team members
  • Take an active part in design discussions, studio activities, and project reviews
  • Support the marketing side of the practice - helping with award submissions, keeping our website and architecture platforms up to date, and contributing to social media campaigns

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
