Architectural Creative Specialist

Some spaces do more than serve a purpose. They tell a story, create an emotional connection and leave a lasting impression.

At Aston Martin, our approach to design extends far beyond the vehicles we create. From private residences and flagship stores to branded interiors, dealerships and global events, our Architectural Design team brings the character, craftsmanship and unmistakable identity of Aston Martin into extraordinary physical environments around the world.

We are looking for an Architectural Creative Specialist to help shape the earliest and most influential stages of these projects. This is an opportunity to transform ambitious briefs into compelling creative concepts and define the visual story that will guide each project through design development and delivery.

Working alongside the Chief Designer of Architecture and the Design Lead for each project, you will take ownership of the creative phase of our architectural design process. You will explore ideas, develop themes and create innovative concepts that balance imagination, functionality and the practical realities of construction.

Your work will help establish the aesthetic direction of each project. From overall spatial planning and defining significant design features to resolving more detailed design challenges, you will move confidently between the bigger picture and the finer details that make an environment feel unmistakably Aston Martin.

You will work closely with developers, architects, construction teams and specialist suppliers, leading creative conversations and helping everyone involved understand and protect the original design intent. You will also build trusted relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients, communicating complex architectural ideas with clarity, confidence and sensitivity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a role for someone who enjoys pushing creative boundaries while remaining grounded in what can be successfully delivered. You will contribute to internal design reviews, lead external reviews and help ensure that each concept reflects Aston Martin’s luxury standards, brand DNA and commitment to creating something genuinely distinctive.

We are interested in hearing from incredibly creative people who are full of great ideas and extensive experience developing inspiring concepts for high-end residential environments. You will understand how to turn a narrative into a strong architectural idea and how to present that idea in a way that creates confidence, excitement and shared direction.

You will bring excellent spatial planning capability, a deep appreciation of contemporary luxury design and experience working within premium brand environments. You will also understand the important relationship between concept and reality, knowing when to challenge expectations and when to adapt an idea to protect its quality and feasibility whilst ensuring our brand standards are maintained to the highest standards.

An architectural qualification is essential, while experience within the automotive industry or representing a luxury brand to high-profile external clients would be particularly valuable.

Just as important will be the way you work. You will be organised, a strong decision-maker with sound judgement, proactive and comfortable managing several complex projects at different stages. You will communicate confidently with people at every level, bring calm and creative thinking to challenges and create an environment in which colleagues and external partners feel motivated by the direction of the project.

The role is based at Gaydon and includes collaboration across international time zones, with travel required when projects and clients need your support.

If you are passionate about contemporary architecture, conceptual storytelling and creating extraordinary luxury environments, we would love to hear from you.
