Job Title: Architectural Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Data Centers

About the Role
We are partnering with a premier global digital infrastructure developer seeking an experienced Architectural SME to provide client-side expertise across the development, design, and delivery of hyperscale Data Centre projects throughout Europe. This is not a production design role; rather, you will act as the trusted internal architectural authority to review, challenge, and assure designs from external partners, ensuring they meet strict technical, commercial, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from site selection and technical due diligence through to construction and handover.
- Review and challenge architectural designs, specifications, and technical submissions from third-party architects and contractors.
- Ensure architectural designs seamlessly integrate with critical engineering systems (structural, civil, MEP, and life-safety).
- Navigate and advise on planning, permitting, and building regulations across various European jurisdictions.
What You'll Bring (Essential)
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience specifically in Data Centre design, development, or construction.
- Proven experience working on hyperscale or large-scale mission-critical projects.
- Strong background in multidisciplinary design coordination and reviewing third-party designs.
- Fluent professional English and a willingness to travel across Europe as required.
