About the Opportunity

WeWork seeks an architectural designer with at least 3 years of experience for our London Design Studio. The architectural designer will aid in the creation of vibrant co-working environments, collaborative spaces, and special projects. The successful candidate will be involved in a rapid project schedule that requires organization, tenacity, and the ability to work with others and report into the London Design Studio Senior Manager.

Periodic travel may be required and portfolios must be submitted for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects independently, including establishing own timelines, sticking to deadlines, and managing own workload.
  • Space Planning: For each project, identify and arrange the functional requirements, high-level programming, code analysis, and space planning. Produce all design and handoff packages using Revit, including programming, layout, AoR and GC handoff, and stakeholder-related deliverables.
  • Design Deliverables: Produce complete design packages, including interior design drawings, lighting strategy, joinery and FF&E specifications, technical drawings, and AoR and GC coordination.
  • Member’s Support: Manage the relationship and the design deliverables for Configured Member Projects throughout the presales process. Focus on producing and coordinating architectural test-fits to support management agreements, internal reprogramming requests, and sales requests, ensuring quality sign-offs by the Design Studio leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Design & Creative Director, and Senior Design Manager at every design milestone to ensure comprehensive and executable design intent aligned with project briefs. Ensure that every design deliverable complies with WeWork's quality assurance guidelines and standards for design, documentation, project management, cost, and local code.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants and suppliers to ensure the design and quality are executed as per specifications. Provide regular, timely updates on project progress and address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Source new materials, fabrics, and FF&E suppliers.
  • Monitor costs to ensure projects are on budget.
  • Attend project and client meetings and site visits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
