Join a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive design team as an Architectural Technician delivering renewable energy upgrades across the UK. You’ll play a key role in preparing building warrant and planning applications while growing alongside a team that values quality, environment, and working together. The remit:

  • Prepare drawings and plans for building warrant applications covering External Wall Insulation and other renewable upgrades, including solar panels and ASHP installs
  • Track the progress of live applications and submit amendments or new applications for additional properties and projects, keeping CAD and Revit drawings to quality standards
  • Keep drawings and paperwork for statutory building warrants up to date, liaise with the relevant bodies and arrange investigatory works and testing
  • Issue up-to-date drawings and specifications to the operational contract team
  • Respond to local authority queries on planning and building warrant applications

Required Skills & Experience

  • HNC/HND/BSc Hons in Architectural Technology
  • Knowledge of insulation measures and thermal bridge (EWI/IWI/RIR/FRI/UFI)
  • Experience with Building Notices, Building Warrants, Planning Applications across UK including Listed Building Consents
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit / Cad
  • Basic knowledge of renewables (PV & ASHP)
  • Strong time management, with the ability to prioritise multiple applications and meet submission deadlines
  • Well organised, with the ability to keep drawings, documents and application records accurate and up to date across concurrent jobs
