About the Company

Locri is working with an established urban planning and building design practice based in Southampton, Hampshire.

The practice works closely with developers and housebuilders across residential projects, combining planning, architectural and technical expertise to help bring development proposals forward. With a growing workload, they are looking to add an Architectural Technician to their team.

About the Role

This is an Architectural Technician position focused predominantly on residential housing developments. The role is around mainly AutoCAD-based, so strong AutoCAD experience is essential. You’ll be involved in the technical delivery of residential projects, working alongside the wider team to produce accurate technical information and drawings.

About You

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience working for a national housebuilder or housing developer
  • Experience working on UK residential housing projects
  • Strong AutoCAD skills
  • Good technical knowledge and an understanding of residential construction
  • Experience producing technical drawings and information for housing developments
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider design team
