ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
POSITION: Architectural Technician
LOCATION: Commutable from Hull, Beverley, Grimsby, Lincoln, Doncaster, Selby, York, Leeds, Sheffield
Hybrid role - Generally in the office 2/3 days per week
HOURLY RATE: Contract rate available on a PAYE or Ltd Co basis (OUTSIDE IR 35) - £23.00ph - £27ph
THE ROLE:
This is a contract position for 3-6 months for an experienced Architectural Technician to join this multi-disciplinary practice.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician, preferably working on housing / sheltered housing/ apartments/social housing
- HNC / HND in an appropriate Architectural / Construction / Building discipline.
- Good architectural experience with clear evidence of achievements. Experience and ability to work across all RIBA Plan of Work stages
- Design skills and technical understanding including standards, codes of practice, regulations and industry best practice
- In-depth knowledge of current CDM Regulations, Building Regulations and Planning practices
- Contract procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate design skills and analytical judgement and creativity to deal with complex and varied situations
- Able to design using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD with clear demonstrable evidence.
- Full driving licence
