Architectural Technologist
LB Design Recruitment are working with a well-established residential developer based in Wimborne who are looking to appoint an Architectural Technologist to join their growing in-house team.
With several new sites due to commence later this year, this is a newly created role driven by continued growth. The company delivers high-quality, traditionally detailed residential schemes across Dorset and the surrounding counties, with the majority of architectural design undertaken internally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages for residential developments
- Coordinating information across internal departments and external consultants
- Assisting with planning amendments, building regulations submissions and technical approvals
- Ensuring designs comply with current UK Building Regulations and NHBC standards
- Supporting the delivery of multiple sites at various stages

Key Requirements:
- Experience working on UK residential schemes
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of current UK Building Regulations
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed working drawing packages
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Experience using ArchiCAD is advantageous, although training will be provided

The role will be predominantly office-based, with the business now operating from a brand-new, purpose-built headquarters. The beautifully designed office environment reflects the quality and ambition of the developments they deliver.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing developer with a strong reputation for delivering thoughtfully designed homes. Salary is very much dependent on the individual and their level of experience.
