Architectural Technologist

I am working with a long-established and highly respected architectural practice based in Warwickshire, renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality architecture. With many years of experience, they have built an impressive portfolio across a range of sectors, including residential, leisure, and education. Their collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to design excellence have earned them an outstanding reputation within the industry.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to join their team and support the successful delivery of residential projects.
The Role
As an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the residential team from planning through to construction. Working closely with Architects, Technologists, and consultants, you will produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with current Building Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages.
- Support the delivery of residential projects across all RIBA work stages.
- Prepare planning, Building Regulations, and construction documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
- Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate technical information and resolve design and construction queries.
- Attend site visits and project meetings where required.
- Assist in delivering projects on time and within budget.
About You
- Experience working as an Architectural Technician, ideally within the residential sector.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with Revit experience being highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
- Excellent technical drawing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
