Architectural Technologist - Nottingham | £35,000-£40,000

A long-established Nottingham architecture practice is hiring an Architectural Technologist to join its team. Award-winning portfolio, a varied workload across multiple sectors, and a design-led studio with technical depth to match.

You'll work on live projects across the RIBA stages, producing detailed technical drawings and packages, coordinating with the wider team, and helping take schemes through delivery.

The Architectural Technologist role, day to day:

  • Producing detailed technical drawing packages and construction information across live projects.
  • Coordinating with architects, consultants and contractors through the technical and construction stages.
  • Applying UK Building Regulations, standards and CDM requirements.
  • Working in the practice's BIM software as part of a BIM-led delivery approach.
  • Supporting site queries and project delivery on live schemes.
  • Contributing to specifications, detailing, and buildability decisions.

What we're looking for in this Architectural Technologist:

  • Relevant qualifications (CIAT or similar) and a few years of UK practice experience.
  • Strong BIM and 3D modelling skills across technical delivery.
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical detailing.
  • A track record of producing technical packages and seeing them through delivery.
  • Confident coordinating with other disciplines and communicating clearly.
  • Organised, self-starting, and comfortable running your own workload across multiple projects.
