About The Role

RGB Recruitment seeks an Architectural Technologist for a full-time post in Bristol, paying £35,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience. The Role & Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with Architects and wider design teams to deliver projects from planning through to construction
  • Producing high-quality technical drawings, construction packages, and detailed design information
  • Preparing and coordinating planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
  • Developing and managing NBS specifications
  • Coordinating technical information with consultants, including structural, civil, and MEP engineers
  • Attending site visits, design team meetings, and liaising with contractors as required
  • Supporting projects during construction stages, responding to technical queries and site issues
  • Working within JCT and NEC contract frameworks
  • Ensuring technical compliance with current Building Regulations and best practice standards

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent)
  • Experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect within a UK practice
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to produce coordinated construction information
  • Revit proficiency is mandatory
  • Experience preparing technical details, specifications, and regulatory submissions
  • Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
  • Knowledge of NBS specifications
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress professionally
  • MCIAT chartership achieved or working towards (full support provided)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
  • Proficiency in Revit
