About The Role
RGB Recruitment seeks an Architectural Technologist for a full-time post in Bristol, paying £35,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience. The successful candidate will join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy with over fifty years of operation and a strong record of staff retention. The Role & Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with Architects and wider design teams to deliver projects from planning through to construction
- Producing high-quality technical drawings, construction packages, and detailed design information
- Preparing and coordinating planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
- Developing and managing NBS specifications
- Coordinating technical information with consultants, including structural, civil, and MEP engineers
- Attending site visits, design team meetings, and liaising with contractors as required
- Supporting projects during construction stages, responding to technical queries and site issues
- Working within JCT and NEC contract frameworks
- Ensuring technical compliance with current Building Regulations and best practice standards
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent)
- Experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect within a UK practice
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to produce coordinated construction information
- Revit proficiency is mandatory
- Experience preparing technical details, specifications, and regulatory submissions
- Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
- Knowledge of NBS specifications
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress professionally
- MCIAT chartership achieved or working towards (full support provided)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
- Proficiency in Revit
