Architectural Technologist | Birmingham | Hybrid Working | circa £40,000 - £48,000 DOE + excellent benefits.

Are you an experienced Architectural Technologist looking to join a collaborative design practice where you'll play a key role in delivering technically excellent projects from concept through to completion?

Alfred Recruitment is partnering with a respected multidisciplinary design consultancy that is continuing to grow its Birmingham team and is looking to appoint an Architectural Technologist with strong technical and project delivery skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within a supportive environment that encourages professional development and career progression.

The Role

  • Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and construction information.
  • Support project delivery across all RIBA work stages.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • Contribute to technical problem-solving and design development throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits where required.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
  • CIAT accreditation (or working towards) would be advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods and Building Regulations.
  • Experience producing detailed construction information and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
  • Proficient in Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar BIM software.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
