A well-regarded Gloucestershire architecture practice is hiring an Architectural Technologist to join its commercial team.

Strong pipeline, varied projects, and a studio that takes design quality and sustainability seriously.

You’ll produce technical design packages and see projects through the construction stages, working across commercial schemes with exposure to defence sector work.

This is a hands-on technical role with the backing of an established practice and a clear path to grow.

The Role: Architectural Technologist

  • Producing detailed technical design packages and carrying them through to construction.
  • Working mainly on commercial projects, with scope to get into defence sector work.
  • Applying current Building Safety Act requirements, UK building regulations, and CDM obligations.
  • Producing specifications (a real plus if you’ve done it before).
  • Working closely with the wider design team, and confidently on your own when needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
