Senior Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our client based in either Manchester, London, or Warwick - working on a 6-month contract basis with the possibility for further extension. This role involves working across a range of technically challenging and highly regulated sectors, including Power, Defence, Nuclear, and Life Sciences.

Location: Manchester, London, or Warwick
Contract: 6 months with the possibility for further extension
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day per week in office, rest from home)
IR35: Inside IR35 role, candidates must use Umbrella or agency PAYE
Rate: Gross umbrella figure around £28–£34 p/h based on experience and suitability

Requirements:

  • Existing eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain basic (SC) level security clearance
  • Prior experience working on projects in highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences, and Power
  • Highly proficient on Revit software (5 years’ experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Producing and developing high-quality architectural drawings, models, and technical documentation using Revit.
  • Supporting the delivery of architectural packages across medium to large project teams.
  • Interpreting project briefs and delivering outputs that meet client, project, and regulatory requirements.
  • Applying BIM Level 2 principles and good information management practice to project delivery.
  • Supporting the production of specifications, including work involving NBS Chorus.
  • Contributing to technically complex projects in highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences, and Power.
  • Working with a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Architectural Technologist role
  • A high level of proficiency in Revit
  • A strong understanding of BIM Level 2
  • Experience delivering architectural packages with limited supervision
  • Experience working on projects within highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences, or Power
  • Experience with NBS Chorus specifications
  • The ability to work independently and deliver against a brief
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and multiple office locations
