Role Description
The Architectural Visualization role at Flying Emu Studios is a full-time, on-site position based in the South London Area, United Kingdom. The role involves creating high-quality 3D renderings, animations, and visualizations for architectural and interior design projects, from concept through to final delivery. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural drawings and design briefs, developing detailed 3D models, applying materials and lighting, and producing still images and motion content that align with client requirements and studio standards. The professional in this role will collaborate with architects, designers, and internal team members, participate in feedback and review sessions, and adapt visuals based on client and project needs. Responsibilities also include managing project files, meeting deadlines, maintaining a consistent visual style, and contributing ideas to improve workflows and overall visual quality.

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to interpret plans, sections, elevations, and design concepts into compelling 3D visuals.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present visual ideas clearly, respond to feedback constructively, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with Solution Architecture and Integration in visualization workflows, such as combining different software tools and data sources to create cohesive 3D outputs.
- Proficiency with industry-standard 3D and visualization tools (e.g., 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, SketchUp, Revit), rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, Unreal Engine, Lumion), and image editing software (e.g., Photoshop).
- Strong visual sensibility, including understanding of composition, lighting, colour, and materials, and attention to detail in rendering and post-production.
- Relevant education or training in architecture, architectural visualization, 3D design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in archviz or CGI production.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work to deadlines in a studio environment, and maintain organized workflows and asset libraries.
- Knowledge of real-time rendering, VR/AR, or animation pipelines is beneficial, as well as familiarity with property development and interior.
