Role Description
The Property & Campus Services (PCS) department of the University is looking to recruit a Part 1 Architectural Year-Out Placement Student to the Design Group, commencing on 28th September 2026. The role is for a Part 1 Architectural student to provide Architectural design services and support on Design Group construction projects, which includes building repairs/maintenance, as well as mechanical and electrical alterations/improvements and minor capital works within the value band of circa £25k to £10m.

Responsibilities
- You will assist the department in the continuing work across the University Estate that will contribute towards your Architectural qualification.
- You will be working alongside a team of Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Supervisors gaining invaluable experience in the construction industry.
Qualifications Required
- You should have minimum 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) and a Part 1 Architecture degree (or equivalent).
