Southern Water is recruiting for the role of Architecture Analyst.

The Architecture Analyst supports the effective operation of the Architecture function by ensuring governance processes run smoothly, architecture data is accurate and aligned, and architecture tooling and repositories are maintained. Working under general direction, the role plans and delivers defined work packages and manages stakeholder needs.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate architecture governance forums, including agendas, scheduling, materials, and minutes.
  • Track decisions, actions, and outcomes from governance forums.
  • Perform first-line assurance checks on governance artefacts and escalate exceptions when needed.
  • Maintain the architecture repository and keep applications, integrations, and relationships accurate and complete.
  • Manage onboarding and updates of architecture artefacts before publication.
  • Investigate data inconsistencies across tools and teams and coordinate remediation with data owners and tool administrators.
  • Produce regular reporting on architecture metrics for governance forums.
  • Support the definition and improvement of architecture processes, templates, and ways of working.

What they’re looking for

  • Experience in architecture, PMO, service management, or a similar support function.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Orbus Infinity, CMDB, or similar repositories.
  • Experience producing MI and dashboards using Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong data management capability.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and follow-up discipline.
