Job Summary

As an Architecture Analyst, you'll work at the heart of strategic technology planning, helping to maintain and improve the tools, data and governance processes that support decision-making across the organisation. You'll collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, analyse complex information, develop insightful reporting and visualisations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture services and standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, influencing stakeholders and finding innovative ways to improve processes. You'll have the opportunity to develop specialist expertise, support major digital initiatives and help shape the future direction of technology within a nationally important organisation.

If you're looking for a role where you can combine analytical thinking, collaboration and continuous improvement whilst making a meaningful contribution to NHSBT's mission of saving and improving lives, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

The Architecture Analyst will play a pivotal role in NHSBT’s Enterprise Architecture function by owning, administering and developing the organisation’s Enterprise Architecture information systems and tooling. The role is responsible for ensuring the architecture repository operates as a trusted, organisation-wide technology system that underpins architecture governance, strategic decision-making and technology risk management, as well as producing governance reports and visualisations.

The post holder ensures NHSBT maintains a high-quality, accurate and current view of its technology landscape, through the design configuration and continuous improvement of architecture systems, data structures and reporting frameworks.

The post holder operates with a high degree of professional autonomy, acting as the organisations specialist authority for architecture information systems and governance, and determines how corporate policies and standards are translated into operational practice across NHSBT.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
