About Us
Extension Architecture and Interior Ltd is a design-led architecture and interior design practice based in London, working across residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects. We're passionate about thoughtful, functional design and are looking for an enthusiastic Architecture Intern to join our team and contribute to live projects from concept through delivery.
About the Role
As an Architecture Intern at Extension Architecture and Interior Ltd, you'll work closely with our design team, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the architectural and interior design process — from early concept sketches to detailed technical drawings. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring architect to build practical skills in a collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of design concepts, drawings, and presentations
- Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and renders using industry-standard software
- Support the preparation of planning and technical submission documents
- Build physical and digital models to communicate design ideas
- Conduct site visits and surveys alongside senior architects and designers
- Assist with research on materials, finishes, precedents, and planning regulations
- Participate in team design reviews and client meetings
- Help maintain project documentation and drawing registers

Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated from an accredited architecture or interior design program (Part 1 or Part 2 preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Strong hand-sketching and visual communication skills
- A well-organized portfolio demonstrating design thinking and technical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
