About 18.01LONDON

18.01LONDON is one of the world's leading vintage fashion archives, housing over 30,000 garments and accessories spanning more than 250 years of fashion history. We work with many of the world's most respected luxury fashion houses, designers, costume departments and creative teams, providing unparalleled access to historic clothing for research, inspiration and design development.

No two days are the same. Alongside preserving and maintaining our collection, we support a fast-moving international client base whose projects often require quick thinking, meticulous planning and exceptional attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, collaborative and proactive to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the archive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of the collection, while also playing a key role in preparing the archive for client appointments and research visits.

The position combines meticulous archive management with a creative understanding of fashion, garment construction and visual storytelling. It requires someone who enjoys planning ahead but is equally comfortable adapting quickly when priorities change.

Excellent communication is essential, as the role works across every part of the business and requires close collaboration with colleagues, clients, couriers and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Archive Management

  • Maintain the organisation, presentation and condition of the archive to the highest standard.
  • Catalogue and accurately track all garments entering and leaving the archive.
  • Responsible for shipping internationally, and coordinating returns with clients.
  • Ensure stock movements are recorded efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain storage systems and continually improve archive processes.
  • Monitor the condition of garments and ensure appropriate handling, storage and preservation techniques are followed.
  • Coordinate incoming acquisitions and integrate them into the archive.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
