Are you a driven field sales professional with a passion for the construction sector? Aliaxis UK is looking for an ambitious Area Account Manager to grow demand for our market-leading pipes and fittings portfolio across the London and surrounding counties.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow relationships with independent and national distributors.
  • Build and execute a regional account plan aligned to our sales strategy.
  • Spend at least 4 days a week in the field meeting customers and driving activity.
  • Identify and influence project opportunities by engaging subcontractors and contractors.
  • Create pull-demand, deliver take-offs, track project pipelines and secure conversions.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Consultants and Major Account Managers.
  • Support customer events, exhibitions, and promotional activity.
  • Stay on top of product knowledge, market trends, competitor activity, and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven field sales experience in construction – ideally from a manufacturing background.
  • Strong experience selling through distributors and working on project specifications.
  • Ability to break and influence design-and-build project specs.
  • Commercially sharp, data-driven, and confident in building your own pipeline.
  • Excellent presentation, training, and relationship-building skills.
  • High competence with CRM tools and account management processes.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and hungry to win new business.
  • Full UK driving licence.
