  • Reviewing, coordinating and authorising permitted activities
  • Maintaining oversight of plant status, isolations, operational hazards and simultaneous operations
  • Supporting safe work on hydrocarbon-processing plant, utilities, marine systems, power-generation equipment and integrated control and safety systems
  • Managing the safe reinstatement of plant following intrusive maintenance.
  • Aligning Control of Work preparation with 28-day, 90-day and turnaround plans
  • Conducting worksite visits, monitoring and audits to confirm compliance with Control of Work requirements
  • Applying process-safety principles and maintaining awareness of major accident hazards and performance standards
  • Managing interfaces between disciplines to minimise operational and simultaneous-operations risk
  • Supporting effective resource use, identifying potential cost concerns and highlighting opportunities to reduce waste
  • Capturing lessons learned and maintaining high-quality permit records
  • Coaching offshore personnel to build their Control of Work knowledge and competence
  • Carrying out duties allocated under the installation’s Emergency Response Plan
  • Supporting additional operational activities and projects when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
