The Opportunity

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Be responsible for managing all aspects of allocated projects with a brief to ensure on-time delivery, within defined budgets and without compromise on safety or quality.
  • Undertake key elements of the role include, but not limited to, client and stakeholder management; commercial, financial and SHEQ performance; project controls, change and risk management and debt management, whilst proactively seeking new opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Provide leadership to the project teams and create growth and objectives where appropriate.
  • Coach and mentor members of the project team and determine actions required for employee development.

What You Will Bring

  • Knowledge of Access Solutions, Work at Height practices and Scaffolding procedures (Rope Access Solutions would be desirable)
  • Successful leadership and process improvement
  • Experience in managing teams across multiple project locations at the same time
  • Accountability for managing single projects, contracts or sites in excess of £250,000 (managing a portfolio of projects in excess of £3m would be desirable)
  • Knowledge of Industrial sector projects i.e. Power Generation, Petrochemical, Food and Beverage, Oil and Gas etc
  • Experience of managing teams in a unionised environment and under Working Rule Agreements and/or Supplementary Project Agreements
  • Flexibility to travel around the UK with overnight stayd as required and adaptability to accommodate other working patterns
