About the Role

We are delighted to be recruiting an entry-level Account Management role within a defined group of Key Accounts at outlet level with Independent Free Trade.

Key Accountabilities

  • Daily account management for key account outlets within the on-trade.
  • Development of customer base through developed customer relationships at outlet level within multiple retailers.
  • Development of existing customer account base, monitoring and management of credit control and undertaking administrative duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Achieve agreed business objectives within timeframes issued and in line with company goals, with a particular focus on growth of sales and distribution targets in conjunction with the Key Account Manager.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives and sales targets for assigned customer base in conjunction with the Key Account Manager.
  • Promote and sell portfolio products through professional sales techniques and long-term customer relationships, improving distribution & rate of sale of brands.
  • Display & utilise category knowledge and implementation (consumer insights, occasions, brand knowledge).
  • Improve customer offering via introduction of Brand representatives, POS materials, trade events and general promotional activity, both internally and externally sourced.
  • Display enthusiasm for continuous improvement in all aspects of the role, developing account base by increasing market share and maximising all revenue opportunities available whiles preserving the highest levels of customer service.
  • Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders within the team.
