We’re currently looking for Engineers to join our business as an integral part of the central team, providing a first-class service to our Clubs. This is a crucial and high-profile role for our business. Reporting into the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for the condition of our new and existing clubs, internally and externally, including all equipment, plant, materials, fixtures, fittings and finishes, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards at all times.

As part of the wider maintenance team, for this role it would be highly advantageous to have a strong background in plumbing, electric or carpentry.

The Role

The Engineer’s duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Overseeing daily, reactive and planned maintenance in the club ensuring they are actioned accordingly.
  • Ensuring that sufficient processes are in place to actively manage all necessary reactive and planned repairs in an efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Implementing all necessary health & safety requirements ensuring these are proactively managed.
  • Dealing with routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and carrying out general repairs and upkeep of the facilities at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Engineer who has previous experience of the following:

  • Previous experience of reactive and planned maintenance in a commercial property environment.
  • Planned & scheduled daily, weekly and monthly routine and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure fully operational facilities and high standards of finish and condition at all times.
  • A sound understanding of: Electricity at Work and Health / Safety at Work regulations & best practice.
  • Computer literate, preferably with some experience of planned maintenance systems.
  • Proven practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance.
  • Proven practical experience and knowledge of electrical systems both single and three phase.
  • Experience of plant/mechanical and pools would be an advantage.
  • Working with external contractors/suppliers.
