Facilities Manager - Nottingham

Salary: £35,000 | Full-time | Access Creative College

About The Role

Access Creative College is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Facilities Manager to join our Nottingham campus.

Our campus is a vibrant environment where students develop their skills across games, music and media, with specialist facilities including recording studios, live performance spaces, rehearsal rooms and creative technology labs.

As Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in making sure these spaces are safe, secure, well-maintained and ready for students and staff to get the most from them.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead the day-to-day facilities operation across the Nottingham campus, working closely with our central Estates and Facilities teams. Your role will include:

  • Leading and supporting the on-site facilities, technical and security teams.
  • Managing planned and reactive maintenance, contractors and service contracts.
  • Ensuring the campus meets health, safety and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Managing facilities budgets, purchasing and minor works projects.
  • Overseeing building security, presentation and day-to-day site operations.
  • Managing rooms, equipment and resources to support teaching, events and student activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the campus and enhance the student experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
