About the Company

A supplier of sustainable agricultural solutions, specialising in the collection, processing, and distribution of food industry materials for use in livestock feed. Working closely with farmers, the company provides feed products and nutritional expertise to help improve feed efficiency and livestock performance. By making use of food industry materials, the business helps reduce waste and supports a more sustainable agricultural supply chain.

About the Role

Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and winning new business? Join a leading supplier of sustainable agricultural solutions as Area Feed Sales Manager for the North West, where you'll play a key role in driving business growth across your designated territory. Working closely with livestock farmers, you'll promote a portfolio of feed products and services, taking the time to understand each customer's needs and deliver tailored, consultative solutions. Using CRM insights and market intelligence, you'll proactively identify new business opportunities, strengthen long-term customer relationships, and grow sales through regular on-farm visits. This role is ideally suited to a proven agricultural sales professional who thrives on building lasting partnerships and delivering results in the field. Supported by a comprehensive training programme and an experienced team, you'll have every opportunity to develop your expertise, represent the business at industry events, and really make your mark in the sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular on-site farm visits to maximise sales opportunities and territory growth
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and achieving sales targets
  • Promote the full product range and services, delivering consultative sales advice by identifying customer challenges and recommending tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry exhibitions to strengthen brand awareness
  • Monitor competitor activity and stay informed on industry trends and market developments

Qualifications

Proven sales success within the agricultural sector

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Highly organised able to prioritise diary to meet business needs
  • Proactive, results-driven, and motivated to exceed sales targets
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify market opportunities and industry trends
  • Customer-focused with a solutions-driven approach
  • Positive, resilient, and able to work independently
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel
