Role Description
The Area Installations Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom installations across an assigned geographic area. This role involves coordinating and scheduling installation teams, ensuring work is completed to agreed quality standards, and resolving any on-site issues or escalations. The manager will liaise with housing developers, social housing providers, and retailers to confirm installation requirements, manage timelines, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Monitoring installation progress
- Conducting spot checks
- Reviewing compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Ensuring all installations meet company specifications
The role also includes:
- Maintaining accurate records
- Reporting on installation performance
- Collaborating with internal departments to continuously improve installation processes and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Experience in managing field-based installation or construction teams, ideally within kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, or fitted furniture.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to schedule multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of site operations, installation standards, and health and safety practices relevant to residential and commercial properties.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills for working with installers, developers, social housing providers, and retail partners.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot installation issues, make sound decisions, and handle customer escalations professionally.
- Competence in using digital tools for remote work, reporting, and documentation (e.g., MS Office, scheduling or CRM systems).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, service excellence, and sustainable working practices.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned area, as required for site visits and inspections.
- Previous experience in a similar area or regional management role and relevant vocational or technical qualifications in construction, joinery, or related fields are advantageous.
