Area Manager

Manière De Voir — UK Retail

We are looking for an exceptional Area Manager to support and elevate performance across our retail stores. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Retail & Wholesale, you will work closely with General Managers across each location, providing the commercial rigour, operational oversight, and leadership support needed to drive consistency, standards, and results store by store.

This is a pivotal role in scaling Manière De Voir's retail presence — ensuring that consistent standards, culture, and commercial discipline are embedded and thriving across every store in the estate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Team Support

  • Act as a trusted partner to General Managers, coaching and supporting them to lead their teams, hit targets, and uphold brand standards.
  • Identify development needs across stores and work with General Managers to build training plans that raise product knowledge, service standards, and commercial acumen.
  • Champion consistency of culture, behaviour, and presentation across all stores, while respecting the individual character of each location.
  • Use available data to monitor performance across the estate, spotting trends, risks, and opportunities early, and working with store teams to act on them.
  • Support General Managers in achieving store-wide and individual sales targets and KPIs, stepping in with hands-on guidance where performance dips.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge — fit, fabric, function, trims, and trend — to credibly support and challenge store teams on commercial decisions.
  • Bring forward ideas and proposals to senior stakeholders that improve performance, efficiency, or experience across stores.
  • Support General Managers on store operations including stock management, payroll, and P&L, with a focus on efficiency and profitability across the estate.
  • Ensure health, safety, and security standards are consistently and rigorously upheld in every store.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
