Area Manager - North & West London
Salary:

We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group - a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.
We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Area Manager to lead our branch and sales teams across North and West London. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive sustainable growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Based on the responsibilities outlined in the role focuses on leading multiple sites, maximising profitability, and developing talent across the area.
Responsibilities
As an Area Manager, you will:
- Lead, inspire and develop circa 24 branch teams across North and West London
- Translate regional objectives into clear operational and commercial plans
- Take ownership of area performance, including sales, margin, cost control, working capital and P&L
- Drive business development activity and identify opportunities to increase market share
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, performance management and succession planning
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure the Customer Value Proposition is consistently executed throughout the area

Requirements
So, if you've got:
- Proven experience operating at management level within a multi-site environment
- A strong track record of delivering commercial growth and sustainable business results
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate and develop teams
- Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, KPIs and P&L performance
