Area Manager – Commercial Cleaning Operations

Location: Northampton (primarily Northamptonshire with occasional travel to neighbouring counties)

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 (depending on experience) + Company Car + Performance Bonus

Join a business that's raising the standard in commercial cleaning.

At Brightr, we're changing the way commercial cleaning is delivered. Through investment in technology, digital quality management, AI-assisted systems and exceptional customer service, we're building a business that's professional, accountable and ambitious. We provide cleaning services to manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, office and food production clients across Northamptonshire and are now expanding into neighbouring counties. We're looking for an exceptional Area Manager to help lead that next stage of growth.

If you're an organised, commercially minded people manager who enjoys building strong client relationships and leading successful teams, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll take responsibility for a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts, ensuring every customer receives an outstanding service. The role is based primarily across Northamptonshire, with occasional travel into neighbouring counties as Brightr continues to grow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with clear ambitions and play a key role in that expansion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
