Area Manager – Franchise Brand Operations
Location: Field-Based Somerset / Taunton / Yeovil
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to support and grow our franchise business across our network of 3rd party operated motor fuel sites across the South West of England.
Working closely with Managers and teams, you will drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with standards for brands including Costa, Pret a Manger, and Chopstix. You will support the delivery of sales and profitability targets. Acting as the key link between our business and the brands, you will champion training, development, and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with brand standards.
- Deliver training and development programmes.
- Coach and support Contract Managers to drive performance.
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Work with site teams to improve standards.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support new store openings.
- Deliver budget and performance targets.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' management experience within a high-volume QSR environment (Costa, Pret a Manager, Chopstix, Greggs, Burger King, or similar).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of food safety and compliance requirements.
- Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
