Title: Area Manager – Hospitality Operations

Location: London
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 + benefits

Our client, an established hospitality services group operating across a portfolio of hotels, is looking for an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple London sites.
This is a hands-on operational role with responsibility for service delivery, team performance, client relationships, quality standards, compliance, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of hotel sites
  • Lead, coach, and develop onsite management teams
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and support recruitment and employee development
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Conduct regular site visits, quality checks, and operational reviews
  • Ensure Health & Safety, training, and compliance standards are maintained
  • Monitor productivity, staffing, budgets, and operational costs
  • Support employee relations matters alongside HR
  • Drive consistent service standards and continuous improvement across all locations

  • Previous experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, Head Housekeeper, or similar hospitality leader
  • Strong multi-site or hotel operations experience
  • Proven people management, coaching, and team development skills
  • Experience managing budgets, productivity, and quality standards
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Flexible approach with the ability to travel between London sites
