Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning
We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Cleaning Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of premium client accounts across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, client-facing professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service standards and thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
In this role, you will be visible on site, representing the business professionally and building strong relationships with clients, contractors and cleaning teams. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery across a range of cleaning contracts, while also managing, recruiting and supporting teams to meet required standards consistently.

The Role:
In this role you will oversee the effective delivery of cleaning services across your portfolio, including:
- General commercial cleaning.
- Window cleaning.
- Hard floor treatments.
- Carpet cleaning.
- Specialist deep cleans.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, carrying out regular site visits, monitoring service standards and ensuring all paperwork, compliance and reporting are completed accurately and on time. You will also play a key role in supporting and developing cleaning teams, helping to recruit, train and motivate staff to deliver excellent results.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in the cleaning sector as Team Manager or Area Manager.
- Strong client-facing skills with a professional, well-presented manner.
- Confident managing a portfolio of accounts across multiple sites.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable handling paperwork and reporting.
- Tech savvy and confident using systems, devices and Microsoft Office.
- Experience recruiting, managing and supporting cleaning teams.
- A proactive problem-solver who can balance operational demands with excellent customer service.
