Position: Area Manager

Location: Field-based - Liverpool

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: £36,400 + Monthly Commission

Our Mission

We're transforming the lives of adult smokers by helping them switch to IQOS, a reduced-risk, heated tobacco product designed as a better alternative to continued smoking. As part of a nationwide field force of over 100 Sales Executives, we’re committed to responsible selling, education, and delivering standout customer experiences in retail environments.

The Role

As an Area Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team of up to 12 field-based product sales advisors across a designated UK region. You’ll be the driving force behind their sales success, coaching, development, and daily execution. This is a field-based role requiring regular, in-person team visits to provide hands-on support and leadership.

You'll champion performance, identify new retail opportunities, and strategically match stores with your team’s individual strengths—maximising impact and unlocking sales potential.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Leadership & Performance

  • Drive your team's performance to exceed KPIs through coaching, clear goal-setting, and day-to-day support
  • Monitor real-time metrics, proactively addressing issues and escalating when needed
  • Deliver impactful field training, especially for new starters and underperformers
  • Uphold high standards of presentation, customer experience, and sales execution
  • Manage attendance and performance, including PIPs for consistent improvement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
