Role Overview
Manage cleaning services across multiple sites, ensuring high service standards, client satisfaction, compliance, and profitability while leading and developing site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning contracts, ensuring contractual and service level requirements are met.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as the main point of contact.
- Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support cleaning teams to deliver high standards.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, attendance, and performance.
- Control budgets, labour costs, and consumable usage to achieve profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH, risk assessments, and company procedures.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and non-conformances, implementing improvements where required.
- Produce performance reports, attend client review meetings, and identify opportunities for service growth and improvement.

Person Specification
Essential
- Experience managing cleaning or facilities management contracts.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
- Full driving licence.

Desirable
- Facilities Management or Cleaning Management qualification.
Working Environment
- Multi-site role with regular travel.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and participate in an on-call rota if required
Health & Safety
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Ensure staff are trained, risk assessments are completed, and PPE is used appropriately.
