We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as an Area Manager, you can play a vital role in this.
Role: Area Manager
Location: Pembrokeshire
Hours: 30 hours a week
Salary: £44,025 per annum (pro rata for 30 hours)
Contract: Permanent
What you’ll be doing:
The post holder will be required to work collaboratively with the existing Area Manager for all Local Authority Liaison and reporting requirements.
We currently support 22 individuals across Pembrokeshire; both in supported living settings and those individuals living in their own homes. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our services across Pembrokeshire are managed to the highest standards. Ensuring the people we support lead fulfilled lives, promoting a culture of engagement and participation and encouraging self-determination and social inclusion.

You’ll be responsible for leading your team, ensuring compliance to safeguarding requirements and the achievement of on-going positive outcomes. You’ll uphold Cartrefi’s values in everything you do and build positive relationships internally and externally.
You’ll be responsible for budgeting for your services and monitoring cash flow. You’ll monitor, review and report on service performance to ensure alignment with our organisational goals.
Who we’re looking for:
- Previous experience of managing a service supporting people with learning disabilities, and/or other support needs
- NVQ 4 or QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or the ability and willingness to gain this qualification
- Experience of managing and leading a team and an ability to build positive relationships with a range of people.
- The ability to achieve results through managing colleagues’ performance and monitoring and evaluating service provision
- A good standard of digital literacy with experience of working with Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
