Role: Area Manager
Salary: £40,000 + Electric Company Car
Hours: Split shifts, typically 5:00am-9:00am and 6:00pm-10:00pm
Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday, with flexibility and overtime as required
Job Status: Full Time/ Permanent

Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established and rapidly growing national cleaning and facilities services provider for an experienced Cleaning Area Manager to cover London and the surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who is confident managing multiple cleaning contracts, leading teams, maintaining high service standards and building strong client relationships.
You will be responsible for ensuring consistently high standards across a range of commercial cleaning services, including general cleaning, window cleaning, hard floor treatments, carpet cleaning, and specialist deep cleans.

The Role:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across multiple client sites
- Maintaining high standards of service and ensuring contractual requirements are met
- Managing, supporting and motivating cleaning teams
- Onboarding and training new employees
- Monitoring time and attendance
- Supporting payroll processes and ensuring accurate information is submitted
- Carrying out regular quality audits and site inspections
- Managing client relationships and responding promptly to operational issues
- Coordinating specialist cleaning services including window cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor treatments and deep cleans
- Ensuring health, safety and company procedures are consistently followed
- Providing hands-on operational support where required
The Candidate:
Applicants must have:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Cleaning Area Manager or operational management role
- Strong experience within commercial cleaning
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Strong people-management and organisational ability
- A hands-on approach and excellent attention to detail
- Experience with staff onboarding, training, attendance monitoring and quality auditing
- A current DBS
- A full clean driving licence
- BICSc training certification and/or assessor status would be advantageous.
