Area Manager - South Yorkshire
Weldricks Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a 12-month Fixed Term contract for an Area Manager to join our team in South Yorkshire. We are looking for a Pharmacist or non-pharmacist candidates who have a passion for Pharmacy and leading teams to be successful.
What will you be doing?
Joining our team as an Area Manager, you will develop and manage your Branch Teams to ensure a safe, efficient, and profitable area. You will work with the other Area Managers, Senior Leadership, Pharmacy Support and wider Branch Support Centre Team to drive profitability and achieve cost control across the company.
Other duties include:
- Effectively line manage the manager in each branch of your area.
- Coach and develop branch teams to deliver on the company’s goals and targets.
- Manage performance of the branch manager through structured visits and action plans alongside our company policies and procedures, where necessary.
- Use all available analytics to create specific action plans to grow our business in each branch.

What do you need?
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering the best patient care, with excellent team management skills, being able to multi-task and be prepared to support and coach the team.
- Experience of managing multi sites would be preferable.
- You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of colleagues and skill levels.
- Effective communication skills for all levels in the business is key.
- Acting with integrity, commitment, and loyalty to the business and the team, we are seeking an adaptable and innovative individual.
- Although Pharmacy experience is not essential, the right candidate will ideally possess experience of in a community pharmacy environment.
