About Tops Pizza

Tops Pizza is one of the UK's fastest-growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands, with over 90+ stores nationwide and ambitious plans to triple our footprint over the next three years. As we scale, we're building a world-class operations team to help us deliver on this growth. Area Managers will be at the heart of this transformation.

About the Role

We're looking for experienced, motivated Area Managers with a background in QSR or multi-site operations. In this role, you'll initially support performance across our entire estate, from Greater London to as far as Liverpool, before moving into a more regionally focused structure as the team expands. This is a critical leadership role, with a clear path for progression as the business grows. Our current Head Area Manager began on the ground floor, leafletting and making pizzas, and now oversees large parts of our estate. We're looking for others ready to join that journey and grow with us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
