About the Role

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the Blupura brand across the assigned territory. Working closely with the Distribution Manager, Sales Director, Back Office team, and B2B customers, the Area Manager will develop and strengthen market presence, build strategic customer relationships, and support the establishment of a solid local distribution network for Blupura products in the UK. The role plays a key part in accelerating business growth and achieving the company's commercial objectives.

Main Accountabilities

  • Manage and develop business activities within the assigned geographical area to achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Lead, coach, and support local clients to maximize performance and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners
  • Analyse sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and budget requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service, to improve business results
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
  • Manage area budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to meet financial objectives
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of service quality

Requirements

The successful candidate will have significant B2B and B2C experience with a demonstrable track record in:

  • Proven experience managing a sales area or region within a multi-channel B2B environment, preferably in industrial, water treatment, beverage, food service, or capital equipment sectors
  • Strong track record of achieving sales growth, profitability targets, and market expansion objectives
  • Ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Experience in managing complex customer relationships, including distributors, dealers, and direct customers
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Ability to analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer data to support decision-making and business development activities
  • Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance
  • Strong negotiation, forecasting, and pipeline management skills
  • Working autonomously while maintaining strong alignment with corporate strategy and business priorities
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics tools to drive performance and customer engagement
  • Autonomous, proactive, and highly accountable
  • Results-oriented with a strong customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and execution
  • Ability to create, communicate, and implement strategic sales plans

Compensation

  • Base Salary (Gross Annual Salary): £60,000 - £70,000
  • Annual Performance Bonus (MBO): Up to 20% of the annual base salary, linked to the achievement of agreed sales and business development targets.
