About the role:

Landal UK is part of the Landal group, one of Europe's leading holiday resort operators. We manage and support a growing portfolio of resorts across the UK, working with both managed resorts, where Landal is responsible for day-to-day operations, and franchise resorts, where the resort remains independently operated but partners with Landal for brand, commercial and operational support.

We are entering an exciting period of growth, with ambitious plans to increase our managed portfolio while continuing to expand our franchise partnerships. This is an opportunity to play a key role in that growth.

You will work across an exciting portfolio of destinations from Cornwall to Scotland, with a high degree of autonomy and the support of a growing UK and international organisation.

What will you do:

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and relationships across a portfolio of managed and franchise resorts throughout the UK. For managed resorts, you will work closely with Resort General Managers to drive operational excellence, guest experience, revenue, profitability, colleague engagement and compliance. For franchise resorts, you will act as Landal's key relationship and performance lead, working with resort owners and management teams to improve guest experience, revenue and overall commercial performance. You will be the link between our resorts, owners and the wider Landal organisation, ensuring the right support, challenge and expertise is available to help every resort perform at its best.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
