Job description:

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and adaptable person, with a strong understanding of autism and neurodivergence and with excellent local knowledge and connections, to spearhead the development of Triple A’s new satellite office in Whitehaven. You will have supervisory responsibility for a small team of West Cumbria based service delivery staff and will work in partnership with them and the wider Triple A team to raise awareness of Triple A’s services in the local area, improve services, track outcomes, and develop effective collaborative relationships with other organizations serving the local community. You will be based in Whitehaven with responsibility for the smooth running and administration of Triple A service delivery across West Cumbria, with support from the central team. This is essentially a project management role with some supervisory responsibility, offered as a one-year initial contract, with a view to expanding the role or extending the contract duration subject to funding.

About our organisation:

Triple A (All About Autism) is a small, Penrith based, charity working across Cumbria, supporting and connecting autistic adults. We operate a diverse service portfolio including the Navigator one-to-one Mentoring Programme, social groups, post-diagnosis support, Inclusion @ Work/ Connect to Work support, and Autism Awareness training delivery. We are currently expanding our youth service offer for young people aged 14 to 18 years old.

Applications:

Please send CV and covering letter explaining why you would be suited to the job to admin@tripleaproject.org.uk by ------------. To comply with safer recruitment practices, any employment gaps must be clearly accounted for in your CV - this is to safeguard our vulnerable service users only, so please don't let that put you off applying if you took time off for health or family reasons or similar, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Summary:

Responsibility (with central support) for administrative management and oversight of Triple A services within the West Coast of Cumbria area including direct supervision of Navigator mentors and group facilitators. Reporting to the chief executive officer and Operations manager.

You will provide monthly one-to-one staff supervision and provide on-call phone cover on a rota with the central management team (usually during working hours with occasional cover for evening groups and events).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
