Area Sales Engineer
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally respected manufacturer. As Area Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business across the Midlands region up into the North West across to Doncaster and back down to Ipswich, selling a range of industrial cable management solutions. 80% of your role will be in front of the end users at the application end of the spectrum, driving demand and spotting opportunity. The other 20% will be working closely with core distribution partners, upskilling their knowledge on your offering, working on business reviews, and supporting them in being a force multiplier for you on the ground.

Your market focus will be on the OEMs, machine builders, and panel builders who have a need for your offering. This is a field-based sales position whereby activity on the ground is key and you will be travelling regularly. The role is focused on growth within a host of areas, including automation, solar, electrical contractors, control panel builders, and manufacturing.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for the Area Sales Engineer role:
- Technical field sales experience within the electrical field.
- Background in selling technical products to manufacturing OEMs and/or end users.
- Stable track record.
- Driving licence.
