About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and customer-focused Area Sales Executive to join the Keystone Lintels team, where you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with builders' merchants, builders, and other trade customers, promoting our product range, and driving sales growth across your assigned territory.

Working closely with both existing and prospective customers, you will identify new business opportunities, maximize sales within established accounts, and increase brand awareness in the marketplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a successful sales career within the construction and building materials industry while making a direct contribution to the company's continued growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Champion Health & Safety by following company policies, promoting safe working practices, and supporting a positive safety culture.
  • Visit builders’ merchants, builders, and trade customers to promote and sell company products across your territory.
  • Develop strong customer relationships through regular engagement, excellent service, and trusted advice.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to increase product penetration and expand existing accounts.
  • Promote new products, support product launches, and maximize sales opportunities with customers.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new stockists and customers within your assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and visit reports using the company CRM system.
  • Manage enquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities to maximize conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business growth and development.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Success in this role comes from combining strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach and a drive to achieve results. You’ll be someone who enjoys building positive relationships, delivering excellent service, and taking a proactive approach to identifying opportunities. With the ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be motivated to contribute, develop your skills, and make a positive impact as part of a supportive team.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A self-motivated and positive mindset, with the resilience and determination to deliver results.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • A full clean UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • An interest in construction, building materials, or the merchant sector would be beneficial.
