Role Description
This is a full-time, field-based Area Sales Executive role based in Wolverhampton. The Area Sales Executive will manage and grow a defined territory, identifying new business opportunities and is a 100% hunter role. Daily activities include meeting prospective customers, presenting company services and solutions, preparing quotations, and negotiating contracts in line with company guidelines. The role involves monitoring market trends, tracking competitors, and providing regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management. The Area Sales Executive will collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations and supports long-term customer retention.

- Proven experience in field sales & business development within capital markets, environmental services, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in relationship building, client communication, and negotiation, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.
- Competence in territory planning, pipeline management, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools to organize and report on activities.
- Good analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups, both in-person and using digital tools, with clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet defined targets and deadlines.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the Wolverhampton area and surrounding areas.
- Education in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
- Awareness of sustainability, environmental issues, or capital markets concepts is an advantage.
